Super Princess Peach 3 is a 2D platformer game with a twist on the traditional Super Mario series. In this game, it's Princess Peach's turn to be the hero. Mario, Luigi, and the Toads have been captured and taken to Vibe Island by Bowser. He has stolen the Vibe Scepter, a powerful item that can control emotions. There are eight worlds, each with six levels and a boss battle. Throughout the levels, there are hidden Toads that need to be rescued. The boss battles hold captive Toads in bubbles. To progress to the final boss battle, all the Toads must be saved. Defeating a boss unlocks three new levels for the next world. There are also extra levels to unlock, totaling 24 in all. Players can visit a shop to buy items using coins. These items can upgrade Peach's abilities or Perry's skills. Peach has infinite lives, so players can continue playing as much as they want.
The game offers various bonuses, including a glossary, puzzles, mini-games, a music room, and replays of Perry's dreams. There are three mini-games that involve controlling Toad in different activities. By finding mini-game pieces in the levels, players can unlock new levels for the mini-games. Additionally, by completing the game and all the bonuses, players can obtain a special drink called "Endless Vibe," which allows Peach to use her powers without the vibe meter decreasing.
